Position Description
Spectrum Healthcare Resources has an opportunity for full-time Registered Nurses at the Office of Community Care (OCC) in Glendale
Job Summary:
The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for providing patient-centered care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and regulations. The RN will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest quality of care for veterans, ensuring their health and well-being in a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Provide education to patients and families regarding health management.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to develop care plans.
- Ensure compliance with VA healthcare regulations and standards.
- Participate in continuous learning and training programs.
Qualifications:
- Active RN license in the state of Colorado (or compact state eligibility).
- A minimum of two (2) years direct patient care experience within thelast three (3) years.
- Graduation from a school of professional nursing approved by theappropriate State-accrediting agency and accredited by one of thefollowing accrediting bodies at the time the program was completedby the applicant: The accreditation Commission for Education inNursing (ACEN) or The commission on Collegiate Nursing Education(CCNE).
- Active BLS.
Work Hours:
- Shifts may vary based on facility needs, with typical schedules including:
- Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
- Monday-Friday
- Work Location:
- Office of Community Care (OCC), 4100 E. Mississippi Ave, Glendale, CO 80246
Holidays:
- The position follows federal holiday schedules, including but not limited to:
